Kaija Puura

Kaija Puura (b. 1961) MD., Ph.D is Professor of Child Psychiatry and Head of Child Psychiatry at the teaching hospital at Tampere University in Finland. With a career spanning over thirty years, her extensive research and work on the assessment and treatment of young children has been widely published in national and international peer reviewed journals.

She is currently an Associate Editor of the Infant Mental Health Journal. Kaija is also Executive Director of the World Association for Infant Mental Health and Vice President of the International Association for Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and Allied Professions (IACAPAP)
