Arttu Tuominen

Arttu Tuominen (b. 1981) is an acclaimed Finnish author of the bestselling ‘River Delta series’, which has sold over 120,000 copies in Finland alone and already become a critical and commercial success in Denmark, France, and Germany.  THE OATH (Hyvitys), the first book in the series, earned Tuominen the Finnish Crime Writer’s Association’s ‘Johtolanka’ Prize and a nomination for Scandinavia’s prestigious ‘Glasnykeln’ Glass Key Award in 2021. His most recent accolade is the Palle Rosenkrantz Prize 2023 for the Danish translation of JEOPARDY (Hyvitys). Tuominen’s writing is distinctive for giving a compassionate and relatable voice to those on both sides of the law. He works as an environmental inspector by day and lives in the south-western Finnish town of Pori with his family.
