Who can you trust when your allies betray you?
Sandra Fox, a former operative with Britain’s MI6, has returned to London to lead a new, secret unit combating hybrid threats – until one evening her younger brother Oscar shows up at her door and pulls her into a nightmarish tangle of events.
The following night, an Iranian businessman falls to his death in London in the middle of a party. Amid the chaos, Oscar kidnaps a mysterious woman from the party and disappears. Soon both the London police and Iranian intelligence are on the man’s trail. Sandra sets out to investigate the businessman’s death and her brother’s role in it, together with her Finnish colleague Antto Havu.
At the same time, Finland faces an unprecedented crisis when the country is hit by a serious terrorist attack. Sandra and Antto also get wind of a large-scale American hybrid operation targeting Greenland. But is everything really what it first appears to be?
The more Antto and Sandra uncover, the more horrifying it all seems. Events appear to be orchestrated by a secret organization whose goal is to shatter the world order.
Bronze Night continues the story of Anton and Sandra, familiar from the thriller The Frost Blade. It is the second installment in the chillingly topical Shadow Front series, which centers on hybrid threats, intelligence, and conspiracies.
