Elina Vahvaselkä (b. 1990) is a special education teacher who has made her home in Mikkeli, Finland. For her, writing is a way of exploring the many layers and underlying structures of the world. When she is not writing, she can often be found wandering through forests, browsing flea markets or practising Korean swordsmanship. Art, old houses and deep conversations over a cup of matcha are what nourish her soul.
Her debut novel, A Soul Thrice Stolen (Kolmesti viety sielu, Tammi 2026), is a skilfully crafted young adult novel that blends verse and prose.
