Hannu Sokala is a veteran financial journalist with over 30 years of experience, from Helsingin Sanomat newspaper to investigative reporting at Finland’s national broadcaster YLE. He specializes in exposing the inner workings of powerful banks, corporations, and industries.
Sokala wrote two Finnish bestsellers, together with co-author Juha-Pekka Raeste: The 50 Most Dangerous Companies in the World (Nemo/Otava 2020) and The 50 Most Dangerous Families in the World (Nemo/Otava 2023, 2024 update. 2025 update on demand). The 50 Most Dangerous Lies in the World is set to be published in 2026.
His mission: to spark curiosity about money, power, and democracy.
