Former flight attendant turned private investigator Tuulia Raja has been hired to help keep things running smoothly at the town’s housing and lifestyle fair. At first, the job seems light: the only oddity is a battered mannequin found in the lake. Perhaps someone’s love life has taken a hit?

But when a man is later found drowned in a show home’s hot tub, things take a more serious turn. Meanwhile, Tuulia’s own life is adrift. She’s still drawn to the ever-charming photographer Santeri, but their relationship, to put it mildly, is still a work in progress.
