Risto Siilasmaa

Risto Siilasmaa is the founder of WithSecure and F-Secure. He also served as Chairman of the Board of Nokia during the company’s near-fatal crisis and subsequent transformation. His expertise in strategic leadership has been further shaped by extensive experience in venture capital, including thousands of company meetings, more than 70 investments, and substantial board-level and corporate strategy work.

Siilasmaa’s previous book, Transforming Nokia: The Power of Paranoid Optimism to Lead Through Colossal Change, has been published in multiple languages. In Observe, Think, Act, he combines robust research data with his firsthand experience of leading an organization through an existential crisis and rebuilding it for renewed success.
