Hammersmith United narrowly avoided relegation from the Noble League, and now Leon Brown has become one of its core players. The team enters the new season as underdogs, but coaches Ronald Eager and Catello Zanetti manage to get the best out of their players. Leon’s iconic scorpion sting kick secures a crucial victory, yet the pressure of being in the spotlight and the weight of expectations begin to take a toll on him. Meanwhile, in the boardrooms, shady deals are being made, and Salazar Münchenhausen, the new owner of King’s Park Angels, has sinister plans for Hammersmith.
As Leon grows closer to his mother, he begins to uncover fragments of the past. His growing suspicion about the identity of his father stings like poison in his heart. But even that pales in comparison to the devastation blow Leon is dealt at the end of the season, just when Hammersmith is charging toward the league win.
