Meanwhile, Tommo is in grave danger. Captured, he is forced to fight for his survival with other animagi, for the amusement of Valentians. Today he faces his first fight before a crowd, against a powerful and experienced opponent, a wolverine that Tommo instantly recognizes! Their fight is supposed to be to the death of one, or the other.
As fear and hatred of animagi grow in Valentia, this fast-paced fifth instalment pushes Tommo, Hedda, Aasa and Jarek closer to the edge. They must rely on their friendship, courage, and the ability to keep their identities secret as they face new dangers on their journey.
