Hilda may well be… the world’s first celebrity cow!

When Emilia’s mum goes to study in another city, Emilia and her guinea pig Halonen have to move in with Emilia’s dad. Everything is wrong at dad’s house: the carpet is wonky; the curtains are skew-whiff and yesterday’s bread is still in the toaster. When, on top of everything else, Emilia’s dad loses his job, Emilia has no choice but to be embarrassed of her hopeless father. Things only get worse with the introduction of a new school friend, Mona Ranta, who is really, really nice and, worst of all, Lasse Kaaltio’s favourite.

When their school announces a farm animal competition, Emilia and Simo decide to show the others what they’re got. The purpose of the competition is to get a farm animal to somehow produce loads of money. Simo and Emilia have an ingenious idea: they’ll make Hilda the first celebrity cow in the universe! Or is it?

This is an environmentally aware series whose characters — both adults and children — have a wickedly dry sense of humour. The first Super Furball movie was met with rave reviews when it was released in January 2018. It’s been a huge success, with over 100,000 people flocking to the cinema to see it!
